What is the biggest mistake businesses make with their website?

Treating it like a brochure instead of a sales tool. A website should guide users toward a clear action: booking, calling or purchasing. Many sites look good but don’t convert. Through my experience building and managing businesses, I focus on structure, messaging and calls to action that turn visitors into customers—not just traffic.

Why am I getting traffic but not generating leads or sales?

This is usually a conversion or tracking issue, not a traffic problem. Either the wrong audience is arriving, or your site is not guiding them to act. With analytics (GA4, GTM, heatmaps), I identify where users drop off and fix those friction points. Small improvements here often generate bigger ROI than increasing traffic.

How important is local SEO for businesses like restaurants or local services?

It’s critical. For restaurants and local services, most customers come from Google Maps and local search. If your Google Business Profile is not optimized, you are invisible. Having managed a restaurant myself, I’ve seen firsthand how rankings, reviews and photos directly impact foot traffic and revenue.

Most agencies focus only on keywords and backlinks. I combine technical SEO, content strategy and now GEO/AEO (AI search optimization). The goal is not just to rank, but to be visible across Google, Maps and AI tools like ChatGPT or Gemini. That’s where search is heading.

Analytics is the foundation of everything. Without proper tracking, you’re making decisions blindly. I implement GA4, GTM and dashboards to measure what actually matters: leads, revenue and ROI. Data allows us to stop wasting money and double down on what works.

How long does it take to see results from SEO or digital marketing?

It depends on the channel. Ads can generate results in days, while SEO typically takes 3–6 months to gain traction. However, once SEO kicks in, it becomes a consistent source of traffic and leads. The key is combining short-term and long-term strategies.

Yes—especially at the local level. Large brands often ignore local optimization, which creates opportunities. With proper local SEO, strong content and a fast website, smaller businesses can outrank bigger competitors in specific areas or niches.
